CREATIVE FOLK ART
Sometimes it happens. Wood - an artifact, a relic, something unexpectedly found - speaks to a crafts person and creativity takes over. It can't be explained; it's much better to see our creative furniture pieces, which are often amusing or whimsical in addition to performing a function. Sometimes creative pieces are commissioned, but they always arise from the nature and character of the original wood.
